mari kita mari kita

bergembira tepuk tangan sama sama

kita menari sambil langkah kanan kiri

goyang badan goyang kaki

hooray hooray hip hip hooray

back from the trip to Lumut. it was a damn tiring trip but I think I needed it. glad to be back though...

it's 9.34am

I am sitting in the office

we have a

departmental meeting in

a few hours and

everyone is busy updating their

work in progress

I do mine first

because I need to

block out the sound of

their constant reminders

all I want to do right now is

to listen to this song

about a guy who

is waiting for

the girl of his dreams

to jump out of

a picture because

we all want love to be

won easily and

felt with that complete

sense of certainty…

F1 fever

I have been sick the past couple of days. slight temperature. a little bit of coughing. nothing too serious. however, I also promised Adam that I'd go see F1 and Jamiroquai with him on Sunday. So my Saturday was spent making sure I was in peak condition, with the help of Panadol and Cool Fever. Come Sunday morning, I was all set to cheer Piquet on to success *of course, he never does win anything but, damn that smile*

And the day started out so beautifully. we had a spot on the hillstand, and was chillin, enjoying quite a good race and our RM5 cans of coke *such a rip off*.

Then the droplets started. We packed ponchos for the rain. I looked like a dork, but I was a dry dork. But soon it got way to heavy. We knew the race was not going to start again. Some of the fans gave up on the track and started having their own race down the hill with plastic bags on their butt. It was quite entertaining for the rest of us.

As the rain eased up, we made the long journey to the concert venue to catch Jamiroquai, who Adam apparently has a crush on :P and the rain starts again. And of course, the ground transformed from dirt to mud and of course I wore slippers and of course, we had decided to drop the umbrellas and ponchos in the car on the way.

All in all, we still managed to squeeze out a groove or two on the muddy ground. It was hard not to move to his beats, which, though I must admit I am unfamiliar with, I really enjoyed.

Anyway, am at the office today feeling slightly feverish again. But not as bad as I thought I would feel.

Till next year then, F1.
