feeling stupid

My mother and I have been watching the news everyday, and trying to make sense of how all this is happening right before our eyes, and nothing can be done to stop it. A whole country, an entire race, being raped at will. It makes us feel, useless and sad all at the same time. How can such evil exist in plain sight? I pray for the Palestinians. That's all I can think of doing right now.
